LOVE YOUR BOOKSHOP DAY
Saturday October 9

You may not think of Books Illustrated as a book shop.
BUT WE ARE!!
We gratefully appreciate your support and custom.
Our Showroom is virtually open and our fabulous stock of
picture books, illustration prints and original art is on-line
for your perusal - and purchase!
Over the past year more than 16-million people have experienced lockdown
in Australia and been unable to visit bookshops all over the country.
Love Your Bookshop Day 2021 (#LYBD2021) aims to bring our
book-loving communities together in spite of separation, to celebrate
the stories, the sustenance and support available in a bookshop
We welcome illustrator Liz Duthie to our website.

Liz is an illustrator and visual artist based in Central Victoria. More about Liz here.
Her first picture book Wombat, written by Chris Cheng was published recently by Walker Books as part of their Nature Storybook series which feature 'a lyrical narrative and engaging nonfiction combined with stunning artwork to pique the curiosity of young minds'.
Chris Cheng was an educator at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo and his words and Liz's illustrations work beautifully together as a warm and informative narrative of a wombat's life. Reviews note that ...
'this book is a standout for its evocative artwork by debut illustrator Liz Duthie!'
