Experienced primary teacher, Mandy Cooper presents Story Time every Friday morning - from 10.30 am to 11 am. Through a combination of fun story telling, reading, songs and activities she makes books and stories irresistable! No booking necessary. Everyone very welcome - from babies to five year olds, mums, dads and carers. |

As well as providing a showcase for the work of children's book illustrators we aim to excite and inform the public about the processes involved in the making of these works of art, many of which are available for sale. Our education program includes sessions for students of all ages. Professional Development sessions and workshops are conducted for teachers in areas relating to art, literature, design and communication. | Group Sessions and Rates. Cost per group - GST included | ||
| Gallery visit with speaker | 90 minutes session. Maximum number in each group is 30. Cost is $325.00 Introduction to exhibition and session with guest speaker - usually illustrator. 2 sessions - $435.00 |

| Gallery Visit (no illustrator's talk) |
60 minutes session. Maximum number is 30. Cost: $120.00 Introduction to current exhibitions. Worksheets for specific activities can be designed in consultation with clients. |

| Professional Development | Full day or half day. Maximum number 30. Cost may vary depending on materials and speakers, but the average is $20 per head for a half day. |

| Gallery Visit with Workshops and Demonstrations | Half day. Maximum number is 15, with a minimum of 10. Cost depends on materials and speakers, but the average cost is $450.00. N.B. We are happy to tailor programs to suit individual booking requirements. |

| Meetings | Books Illustrated is a pleasant and stimulating environment for meetings. Available days and evenings. Speakers can be booked. Maximum number of 30, Minimum cost $66 Tea & coffee available. Catering can be arranged. |

| How to get to Books Illustrated | ||

Tram: Catch No.1 tram in Swanston St, travel to second last stop, (Graham St), which takes approximately 20 mins. and then walk up Graham St to Gasworks Park which is another 5 minutes walk. Car: Take City Rd or Beaconsfield Pde. to Pickles St, turn into Graham St at the Man, Dog and Boat Sculpture. Free parking can be found in Graham, Foote, Richardson & Pickles Sts.
