| Bob Graham
was born in Sydney where he studied illustration at the Julian Ashton School of Art.
Bob has written and illustrated many children’s books and is well-known for his simple and humourous style, often told from the child’s perspective.
His books include: `Oscar’s Half Birthday`; `Buffy` (Smarties Book prize silver award winner); and `Let’s Get a Pup` (shortlisted for the 2002 Kate Greenaway medal and winner Boston Globe-Horn book award.)
Recent books include`How to Heal a Broken Wing` (winner of the Charlotte Zolotow award and shortlisted for both the NSW Premier’s Literary Award and the 2009 Kate Greenaway medal) and `April Underhill, Tooth Fairy`.
Many of Bob's original illustrations have been donated to the Lu Rees Archives, Canberra.
