Gregory Rogers Born in Brisbane, Gregory Rogers has worked in Australia and overseas as a speaker, teacher and lecturer in illustration.

As well as illustrating a range of children`s books, he was the first Australian to be awarded the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal in 1994 for his illustration in the picture book Way Home, written by Libby Hathorn.

In 2006 his first wordless picture book, The Boy, The Bear, The Baron, The Bard was selected as one of the Ten Best Illustrated Picture Books by the New York Times. The third book in the series, The Hero of Little Street was shortlisted in 2010 for the NSW Premier`s Literary Awards and the CBCA Awards.
