| Caroline Magerl
started off her career by illustrating a humourous article for an ex-Sydney publican, the article was published in an Australian boating magazine. She has since illustrated many fabulous children`s books including `Castles` by Allan Baillie (Penguin) and `Under the Moon` by Libby Hathorn (Lothian Books).
Travelling along the coast as a child meant that although Caroline’s education was less formal it was rich in incident and imagery.
Caroline enjoys running workshops, most recently as part of her May Gibbs Fellowship residency in Melbourne.
She is currently enjoying exploring the medium of printmaking as part of the Voices on the Coast Festival. `Red Man` is the name of her upcoming exhibition of oil and print works shown at The Gallery Eumundi (June-July 2011).
