Books Illustrated welcomes customers to browse our wide range of children’s books.

We specialise in Australian picture books, many signed by the illustrators, and sometimes authors as well. We also stock a comprehensive range of books by and about indigenous Australians.

As well as some advertised open days, our showroom is open by appointment and you can often find us at the Federation Square Saturday Book Market.

The Postal charge for orders of one book with in Australia is $10 and can be made via the online
PayPal facility.

Books ordered with school/institution order number are invoiced and supplied at a 10% educational discount.

Due to the special packaging and freighting required for prints and original illustrations, books are freighted separately.

Extraordinary Book Sale

Since establishing our bookshop in 1993, Books Illustrated has developed an extensive range of fantastic international picture books. After our restructure and move from Gasworks Arts Park it’s now time to sell these books and make more room for our focus: hardback Australian picture books, original illustrations and limited edition prints.
Our friend, Teacher-Librarian Andrea Terrill, has categorised the books into the six International Baccalaureate PYP Transdisciplinary Themes: Who We Are; Where We Are in Place and Time; How the World Works; Sharing the Planet; How We Express Ourselves and How We Organise Ourselves.
These categories will also translate easily to VELs learning domains.

Many are single copies so get your orders in fast!
We will discount sales up to 40%, based on size of orders.
